What do you need for installation:
- desired firmware
- Multiloader application
- USB-cable
- phone
[+] Procedure
- Remove your MMC + Sim card. Then put the battery back. lol
- Get your phone into firmware mode
- Turn off your phone. After your phone is in off state, you should be able to see a "DOWNLOAD" or something like that, in red font. Anyway if you don't see it. Turn it on while pressing again those three button. In my case that's what I did.
- Then connect your phone thru your USB-cable.
- Do a hard reset first before you do this stuff. Of course with your MMC and Sim removed.
[+] Multiloader
- Extract the new firmware you have just downloaded in your desktop.
- Open Multiloader 5.6XX
- Put a mark on "BRCM2133" in the main screen of Multiloader.
- Mark the following: Boot Change, Full Download and Master Rom
- Click the Boot button, then browse the folder of your new firmware which you have extracted and click bootfiles not the folder but the file itself. :)
- Do the same for Apps, Rsrc1, Rsrc2, Factory FS except Amss, Tune, FOTA, etc.
- Be sure to select the low version of Rsrc2. :)
- Then click "Port Search", don't forget to connect your phone or else it will not detect the device.
- After you scanned it, click on download. [Leave your phone until the entire network installation.]
- Check back when the Multiloader prompts, "All files complete".
- You can now disconnect your phone, turn it off, put back your sim card, MMC and the battery.
- Your Phone is now successfully updated.
by the way by upgrading your phone's firmware to this version you will have these:
- Answering Machine (It's in the message panel. I don't know how to use it. lol)
- Synchronise Option.
- RSS Reader.
- New Font. (Corby basically have 3 fonts im not sure)
Enjoy folks.
